Scholarships

Providing scholarships to enrich educational opportunities is the cornerstone of CEAF. Since 2012, CEAF has been awarding scholarships to deserving high school or college students in the Birmingham area. More than $25,000 has been awarded each year.

Ophelia G. Hill Scholarship

Ophelia G. Hill was a founding member and the incorporating president of CEAF when it began in 2000. A visionary for the organization, Hill's mission was to ensure that CEAF provided educational advancement opportunities to the Birmingham community. Beginning this year, CEAF will offer a scholarship in honor of Hill to further her legacy of educational prosperity for our community. 

High School Scholarships

Each year, CEAF provides a number of scholarships to high school students pursuing a college education. Scholarships are available on an annual basis and students are selected through a competitive selection process. The scholarship application and additional details will be available via the website.
